Mike Mowrey has been involved in privately owned business and real estate investment since 1980. Mike has guided numerous companies from startup to final sale. From 1980 to 1998 he founded and directed the growth of an overhead door construction company to over 200 employees and $15,000,000.00 in annual revenues establishing the brand throughout Southern California both through startup satellite offices and acquisition. Mike directed a successful sale of the Company to Windsor Door a division of NASDAQ traded American Building Company (ABC) in 1998.

From 2000 to 2004 Mike founded an Assisted Living Management Company and directed growth to 300 employees and 1200 beds throughout Central and Southern California. During this time, Mike also directed and guided the construction and remodel of a 60-unit Alzheimer’s facility in La Jolla California, as well as a ground-up 5000 square foot Alzheimer’s community in Modesto California. Mike also in 2004 guided and directed the sale of the company’s portfolio of assisted living assets.

From 1998 to present Mike has been a principal in real estate investments in several real estate asset classes. Mike has directed acquisitions and sales of commercial and industrial buildings, single-family homes, multifamily housing as well as mobile home parks. He has successfully guided over $200,000,000.00 to date in real estate transactions.

In 2000, Mike’s passion for youth sports and opportunity for young athletes led him to found a 501c3 not for profit organization benefiting youth scholar-athletes, Life Lesson Sports. This organization supported the children of under-resourced families through tutorial help, proper physical training, and healthy eating habits. Through these opportunities, there have been several young athletes who have secured college scholarships in their perspective sport.

Mike’s passion for providing under-resourced athletes with life skill opportunities has led him to establish To The House Sports Partnerships. Through this organization and its partnerships, Mike will be able to continue to follow his passion for helping to provide inspiring professional athletes a curriculum designed to further develop the leadership skills for long-term real-world success.

Living in Southern California for almost his entire life, Mike has 5 children and one granddaughter and a loving wife Alison.
